BIS Hanoi International Festival to be held next weekend

HCMC – The British International School (BIS) in Hanoi will organize the seventh BIS Hanoi International Festival on November 10 to celebrate cultural diversity and raise money for the school’s charity projects.
Last year, the BIS Hanoi International Festival attracted over 2,000 visitors of different nationalities. The organizer expects over 2,500 people to attend this year.
There will be an array of exciting live performances by BIS Hanoi students and other international schools and organizations in the city, offering visitors an opportunity to learn more about other cultural identities and admire traditional dresses from other countries such as Russia, South Korea, Japan, Spain, Brazil and England.
A highlight of the event is a food fair where guests can experience tasty dishes from different countries prepared by favorite restaurants like O’Leary’s, Doki Sushi Club, Ky Y, Gelato Italia, Namaste, and Little India.
Visitors will also be invited to take part in fun and educational activities such as clay statue painting, face painting, sand art, and lucky draws. Additionally, boutiques such as Quilts & Art, Kym Viet, Ekoko Vietnam, 5 Mart – Organic House will be selling traditional crafts, handmade cosmetics, organic products, and charming clothing.
Some of BIS’s community partners including Blue Dragon Children’s Foundation, School on the Boat, Education for Nature Vietnam and Asia Animal Foundation will attend the event to raise awareness of their work and support local charities.
