Hotel Royal Hoi An presents 2-Michelin-Star chef

HCMC – On the journey bringing international cuisine to Hoi An, Hotel Royal Hoi An, MGallery by Sofitel will introduce the first world-class dining event in Hoi An presented by 2-Michelin-Star Chef Thierry Drapeau on November 24.
Connoisseurs will have a chance to indulge in a delectable five-course set menu dinner featuring mackerel compote, Hoi An treasure bag, duck pie with duck liver, lotus and chocolate.
Originally from Nantes, Loire-Atlantique, France, Thierry Drapeau is internationally well known for his own philosophy of “cuisine de soil”. Taking the position of Chef de partie at La Bateau Ivre at the age of 21, he marked the first milestone on the path to professionalism. Drapeau gained the prestigious 2 Michelin Star in 2011 after years of work at famous restaurants in France.
"Through many years, Hoi An still retains its distinguished features. This ancient town reflects a harmonious blend of ancient and present, east and west. This definitely inspires to create special menus,” he said.
