Italian Cuisine Week ongoing in HCMC

HCMC – The Consulate General of Italy in HCMC, in collaboration with its public and private partners, is organizing the Italian Cuisine Week in the city to introduce the richness and cultural values of Italian cuisine.
Running until November 29, the event includes seminars, conferences, meetings with Italian chefs, food tasting and dinners, commercial promotion programs, cultural events and many more.
Highlights include the “Learning by Eating the Italian Way” seminar at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center on November 16, “Triple I Conversation on the Theme of Food Business” seminar at the Consulate General of Italy on November 23, and the “Borsa Vini” exhibition at The Reverie Saigon on November 26.
Many thematic dinners will also be organized under cooperation with restaurants and hotels in the city, including Namo Tuscan Grill, Bamboo Chic Restaurant, The Reverie Saigon’s Romeo and Juliet Restaurant, and the Park Hyatt Saigon.
The event is part of the International Italian Cuisine Week with various programs being held by Italy’s diplomatic and consular headquarters and cultural institutes worldwide. It introduces the excellence of Italian cuisine to millions of participants, promotes the positive effects of the Mediterranean diet on human health, and shows Italian people’s culinary traditions as an essential part of life and a source of inspiration for art and literature.
