The event will offer an opportunity for enterprises and investors in Viet Nam and abroad to comprehensively grasp strategies and potentials, as well as challenges, for Vietnamese tourism’s development.
The summit’s first session will take place on December 5 under the theme of ‘The need for restructuring the sector’. The delegates will discuss the infrastructure of Vietnamese tourism, measures to attract investment and human training in the field.
‘Sustainable development of Vietnamese tourism until 2030’ will be the theme of the high-level session on December 6, with a research report from the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) as well as memoirs on improving competitiveness for tourism, destination management and aviation infrastructure.
On the occasion, a signing ceremony will be held regarding investment from international businesses to Viet Nam and from domestic enterprises to localities as well as strategy funds for Viet Nam Travel and Tourism Summit in the next three-five years.
The organising board invited founders, chairmen and general directors of the world’s largest tourism corporations from major tourism markets of Viet Nam; along with senior representatives from the World Tourism Organisation and many other international agencies, to attend the summit.
Notably, the event will also feature the presence of Google’s leaders of Asia-Pacific Operations and CNN's Senior Vice-President for Asia-Pacific.
