AccorHotels has new cluster general manager for Phu Quoc properties

HCMC – AccorHotels has appointed Axel Harmand as cluster general manager for two new resorts in the south of Phu Quoc Island, including the Premier Village Phu Quoc Resort and the Premier Residences Phu Quoc Emerald Bay.
Axel Harmand has extensive experience in the hospitality industry countries such as China, Malaysia and Laos. He worked at many famous hotels and resorts such as Hilton, Marco Polo, Sofitel, Sheraton, Langham, and most recently Kempinski Hotel.
In addition to English as the main language of communication, the Frenchman can speak other languages such as Spanish, German, Chinese, Lao and Malay.
Harmand said: “Vietnam is not only an attractive destination for me as a tourist but also very challenging under a hotel management perspective. I am confident that Phu Quoc with its economic potentials will give visitors an exciting and refreshing experience.”
Along with the new general manager, both resorts have also appointed two other executive managers including Daniel-Brian Smith as resort manager of the Premier Village Phu Quoc Resort and Karim Meziane as executive assistant manager of the Premier Residences Phu Quoc Emerald Bay Resort.
